Thaynes Canyon is located against the flanks of Park City Mountain Resort.  Much of Park City's water flows down through Thaynes Canyon, and many homes have quiet streams flowing by or through their property.  Large trees create private settings for homes of various ages.  The first home were built in the late 1970's.  New custom homes and homes that have been completely remodeled are also common in Thaynes Canyon.
