New 10 Person Sunrise Gondola Under Construction in Canyon’s Village

New gondola will bring enhanced ski access to the base of Canyons Village and improve already great skiing for surrounding property owners and guests.

Major improvements to ski access to and from the Canyons Village base area at Park City Mountain are underway, with the construction of the 10 person Sunrise Gondola.  Scheduled for opening in winter of 2025 / 2026, the gondola should shorten lines from the existing gondola and other access points to the mountain.  

The Sunrise Gondola will also enhance already great ski in, ski out access to the Pendry Residences, Lift Condominiums, Hyatt Centric, Sundial Lodge and other buildings surrounding the terminal at the base.  The Sunrise Gondola will place skiers and boarders in the Red Pine area, and replaces the existing Sunrise Chair, which doesn’t move people off the bottom of the mountain.

Guests and owners in the surrounding condominiums will enjoy this direct access onto the gondola, and bring more attention to these already popular properties.  Sunrise will also be an opportunity for lodging guests that are not skiing, to have access onto the mountain and enjoy the scenery.
