Estate Size Property- In Park City and Deer Valley

Using the term "Estate" may bring forward images of expansive, mansion style homes, located behind gates, built on many acres.  For others, it may mean simply having privacy, stream or lake frontage, and for many, owning a large homesite may allow for horses and other toys- all within Park City.   Park City and Deer Valley do offer many residences that meet  all of those wants, and there is something for everyone.  Rustic or upscale, refined or mountain ranch style.  Skiing and ski access may also be a high priority, and if you've dreamed of owning a private ski retreat set on many acres, we have options for you as well.

If you want real estate that meets one of those descriptions, you may be pleasantly surprised- there are many estate size property options in Park City and Deer Valley.   There are plentiful ski in, ski out, estates- at both the Canyons and in various Deer Valley areas.  Equestrian property in and around Park City offer a wonderful lifestyle – for both people, horses and toys.  Picture a mini ranch, with ski area views, within the Park City School District, and minutes from Park City amenities. 

Each community offers a different style, amenity, proximity to Park City and skiing, hiking/biking/equestrian trails so on.  Some of these Park City estates are set in a glade of aspen and pine trees, others offer wide-open, expansive mountain views. 

Park City, Deer Valley, and The Canyons all offer luxurious ski in ski out estates:

The Colony is a gated community at the Canyons and features homesites that are minimally two acres- however, most lots are over five acres.  The Colony provides an on mountain, ski in, ski out experience for owners and their guests, while preserving the maximum amount of open space between homes.  Trees and natural streams are abundant, and the area is beautiful in all four seasons.

Estate sized parcels are not as plentiful in Deer Valley- however there are Deer Valley real estate opportunities that offer ski access and privacy.  Also, just off the ski area, but still within the Deer Valley neighborhoods, are homes located on large lots- many offering privacy and views. 

Looking for room to have horses and toys?  There are mini ranch style property’s that are surprisingly close to downtown Park City.   The combination of ranch style living and close proximity to Park City’s resort lifestyle has grown in popularity over the past few years.

Again, most Park City and Deer Valley communities feature estate sized parcels, but these neighborhoods are especially known for the extra space between homes:
Old Ranch Road.  The Old Ranch Road area is close to Park City, the Canyons, and features equestrian estates, and views of the Canyons and surrounding Wasatch Mountains.   East Creek meanders through the Old Ranch Road area, and it’s common to find homes with stream frontage, ponds, or both.  New, gated communities are mixed with some of Park City’s historic barns and ranch style homesteads. 

     

Silver Creek is located approximately 10 minutes from downtown Park City, and is a popular, equestrian friendly community.  Many homesites are 5-12 acres in size, and feature barns, riding arenas, and other ranch style amenities.  Within the Silver Creek communities are Glenwild, The Preserve, and Goshawk Ranch.  Glenwild is one of the area’s finest, gated golf communites, and does offer homes on estate sized parcels.  The Preserve is a gated community, and features expansive mountain views, large, private homesites.   Many Preserve and Goshawk homes are set on more than ten acres.
