Wohali - The Park City Area's Newest Luxury Golf and Mountain Community

Wohali is Utah's - and the Park City Area's - Newest Luxury Golf and Mountain Recreation Community.  

Wohali is a gated community, set into a dramatic canyon, just outside of the small Utah town of Coalville and Echo Reservoir.  Wohali is approximately 25 minutes from Park City, and about 40 minutes from Snowbasin.   The centerpiece of the amenities are the golf, clubhouses and onsite restaurants, however, the community also emphasizes it's abundant, outdoor four season recreation.  In addition to golf, there's guided backcountry snow cat skiing, tubing hill - complete with "magic carpet", hiking, mountain biking, climbing courses, fishing, snowmobiling, 4 X 4 adventures and much more, all on the community property.  

The Wohali property climbs up from the Weber River,  up a canyon flanked by soaring cliffs, to Lewis Peak in the Wasatch back, which frames the community's backcountry.  The community is set on over 5100 acres, with 93% of that set aside for open space, including 3400 acres of "backcountry."  5 acres near the Wohali entrance will be a solar farm, designed to power the community.  The terrain varies - there's wide open, sage covered hillsides, dramatic cliffs, tree covered mountains and draws with ponds and streams.   A tour of property is really needed to appreciate the scenery and community.

• 303 Semi-Custom Residences will be constructed in phases, in Two Villages:

  In general, we saw Victory Ranch have success creating a great golf experience with an emphasis on the outdoors, and I believe Wohali will have a similar feel.  There are activities and amenities that cover different interests, ages, ability levels  - whether that's golfing, a day at the spa, or arriving for a beverage after a day in the backcountry.
